I, the undersigned (“the Owner”), acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions upon enrolling my dog(s) in the care of Dogsitting Barbados:
- I understand that all dog care services involve risks, including injury, illness, stress, escape, or death, and I accept full responsibility for these risks.
- I release Dogsitting Barbados, its staff, and affiliates from any and all liability or claims for loss, injury, illness, or death to my dog while in their care.
- I authorize Dogsitting Barbados to seek veterinary care in the event of an emergency and agree to pay all related costs.
- I am fully responsible for any damage, injury, or harm caused by my dog to other animals, staff, or property.
- I confirm that my dog is in good health and up to date on all vaccinations.
- I understand Dogsitting Barbados is not liable for the transmission of illnesses, parasites, or fleas between dogs.
- I agree that any dog found with fleas, ticks, or parasites will be treated at my expense and may be quarantined.
- I understand that dogs are boarded cageless in indoor AC rooms and may interact freely with other dogs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- I will not hold Dogsitting Barbados responsible for any incidents that may occur during pickup or drop-off services.
- I accept that if my dog is not picked up within 48 hours of the scheduled time and no contact is made, it may be surrendered to a local authority or shelter at my expense.
- I agree to provide an emergency contact who can make decisions on my behalf if I cannot be reached.
- I acknowledge that personal items left with my dog (e.g. toys, bedding) may be lost or damaged, and I accept that risk.
- I give consent for photos or videos of my dog to be used for updates, marketing, and social media.
- I understand that all bookings are final and non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- I agree to pay a late pick-up fee if I am more than 30 minutes late and have not made prior arrangements.
- I accept that Dogsitting Barbados may refuse or terminate services at any time for behavioral, health, or safety reasons.
- I am responsible for any injury my dog may cause to staff, guests, or other animals.
- I understand that daily updates (photo/video) are a courtesy and not guaranteed at specific times.
By confirming a booking with Dog Sitting Barbados, new clients (clients booking for the first time) agree that a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total booking value (minimum $50) is required to secure all bookings and dates are not reserved until payment is received; this deposit is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations due to changes in plans or alternative arrangements such as friends or family offering to care for the dog; bookings made within 7 days of the start date must be paid in full upfront and are non-refundable; once a booking is confirmed, space is reserved exclusively for your dog and other clients may be declined.
- I accept that Dogsitting Barbados will take all reasonable precautions but is not liable for events outside their control (e.g. natural disasters, accidents)
